Fast and easy family recipes: Peggy's pecan pie recipe

This rich and creamy pecan pie recipe is one of the best you will ever have. It is easy to make and will make everyone think you have spent hours in the kitchen.

Serves 8

1 cup sugar

½ cup white corn syrup

½ cup evaporated milk

3 eggs

1 tbsp vanilla

1 ¼ cups chopped pecans

In a mixing bowl, slightly beat eggs, add sugar, corn syrup, evaporated milk, and vanilla. Blend well. Add pecans and pour into an unbaked 9 inch shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 to 40 minutes more or until filling is puffed in the center and is well browned. Cool completely before cutting.
